Lexus NX (₹ 58 - 62 Lakh)
The Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform's GA-K variant underpins the new NX SUV. The new NX will be offered as a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) under the 'Lexus Electrified' electrification concept. In the third quarter (September) of 2021, the SUV will go into production.
The muscular front appearance of the second-generation Lexus NX, which includes a new blacked-out spindle grille, slim headlights, and L-shaped daytime running lights, adds to the car's attractiveness. It also includes C-shaped air intakes with fog lamps, which adds to the SUV's overall appearance. The hood has been extended to the edge of the front end, while the grille surface has been increased vertically to enhance the front end's bulk, according to the automaker. In profile, the SUV appears to be well proportioned, with a silhouette that is comparable to that of the previous model. An extended light bar situated across the centre of the car, along with the independently positioned L-shaped lamps on the left and right, enhances the NX's unique uniqueness. Furthermore, the Lexus logo above the licence plate represents the next generation of Lexus.
The inside of the all-new NX has been totally redesigned. It's based on the Tazuna Concept, which debuted in 2019 with the LF-30 Electrified concept vehicle. It has a 9.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display (14-inch optional) with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-inch navigation system, wireless charging, and a Lexus premium sound system with 10 speakers, and other features. The all-new NX is equipped with the most advanced Lexus and advanced safety technologies, including an e-latch system, safe exit assist, panoramic view monitor, advanced driver assistance technology with an advance park with remote function, pre-crash safety, front cross-traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane departure alert, lane change assist, proactive driving assist, ABS with EBD, traction control, front and rear traction control, and front and rear traction control.
The all-new NX will be available with a variety of engines, including a 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine and a 2.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine, according to Lexus. Furthermore, on models with PHEV and 2.4-liter turbo powertrains, all-wheel drive (AWD) is available, while on models with HEV and 2.5-liter naturally-aspirated powertrains, both AWD and front-wheel drive (FWD) are available.
